With this thought in mind, we did a little exercise. The objective of the exercise was to get participants to travel to places, times, experiences they have had ..triggered by being brought into contact with various objects that were placed before them.
Everyone closed their eyes. They were presented with different objects that they could touch, taste, smell but not see. At the end of the exercise they shared the memories the objects evoked.
The objects used were – sand, seashells, pebbles, salted peanuts, popcorn, salt water, a rakhi, marbles and a wooden spinning top (Gattu).
